[Steve is silent for a long moment]

Let me get this straight. You let me think that Conrad had a crush on me, but that's just a joke? And now you want me to pretend I still think that, to... "troll" him?

Hey it was funny kinda. But in all seriousness he did say you were prettier than Orlando bloom. But. Its a joke, a running joke really.

[Despite the shock that he actually said yes Hanna almost chokes in the half gasp half laugh kind of way.] Oh my god you are now officially my favorite super hero. I mean, even better than Batman.

[And...he will just switch to video now that he doesnt have to hide his grin.] You have to see the faces he makes, like. They are priceless.

[Steve is chuckling as well as the video turns on, his blue eyes dancing with amusement. Yes, he can have fun, too. He's not all about justice and freedom, you know.]

You're sure he doesn't have a crush on me? [Because if he actually does, then this would be cruel and Steve isn't down with that] Does he, you know, swing that way at all?

[This is going to be great.] Im pretty sure, like. Unless he is in denial big time. And I know he clearly said he wasnt into guys, so I think we're safe on the "lets not be too much of an asshole" front.

And while im not sure thats true im positive about that first one. He's a fanboy but...im pretty sure he isnt into you like that.

[Yeah, he noticed Conrad was a fanboy. He ducks his head shyly and looks sidelong at the camera, but he's still grinning]

That's the main thing I want to be sure of, so I'm trusting you on this, kid. [He arches an eyebrow] So are we winging this, or do you have an actual plan?

[Hanna raises an eyebrow.] Im twenty-four.

[But, he can let it go. Its Captain America. ] and you know...I hadnt thought that far ahead...you have any ideas?

So? I'm ninety-five. I can call you kid if I want. [He chuckles and leans back in his seat] Elaborate pranks aren't really my thing. You might need to invite me over, though. I could make a comment to him, but if you're not there it won't be as much fun.

[Captain America in his house. Well. Okay, he thinks he can do this.]

W-well, uh, obviously you need to come over! I dunno what day is a good day but I feel like casually mentioning your coming over like an hour before it happened would get me strung up in the streets on a pike or something.

[He'd have to at least tell Conrad first. Give him a day in advance.] You doing anything tomorrow?

Well, Conrad does owe me a drawing, so it wouldn't be that weird if I came over I think. Just a second, let me check my appointment book. [He mimes opening an invisible book and strokes his finger down an invisible page.] Nope, seems like I'm free. Fancy that. Should I come around sunset?

[Jesus, are you like some kind of kitten in soldier form? No one should be that cute and charming...

In any case, Hanna laughs behind a hand and nods.] If I was a jerk I'd say a little before sunset, but. I'm sure Conrad wouldn't appreciate you arriving before he got up.

Yeah, but you're not a jerk, and neither am I. So I'll be there a bit after sunset and you can break it to him before I get there.

[Though sometimes he wishes he were. Life might be easier that way.]
